Teaching Tegan to Read

Tegan has been really hard on dog beds.
She is obsessed with the zippers.
She pulls the zippers apart and works at the stuffing.

Our best solution so far, has been to remove the zipper and stitch up the beds.
But the covers cannot be washed. :(

Cheap Pillow.........No Zipper.

Time to teach Tegan to Read!

"What does it say, Wyatt?"

Challenge acknowledged and accepted!

Sigh.......

  1. Tegan!! Isn't de-stuffing FUN?!? My brothers Bart and Gizmo once de-stuffed a down comforter and a dog bed in the same night!! How awesome is that???

  8. you know - there is nothing worse than getting your hair stuck in a zipper - we think Tegan is just preventing this from happening :)

  9. It's very hard to figure out what is a squeaky toy and what isn't. I mean if it has stuffing and things to fiddle with, like zipper pulls, you would think it's a squeaky toy. It took me a long time to learn to tell the difference.

  11. Maybe she doesn't like square pillows, I suggest a round pillow. If that doesn't work then I think she has to sleep in the big bed, just sayin, a dogs gotta have a comfy bed.

    Aroo to you,

  12. Good job Tegan! Every zipper in this whole house has no puller. You chew them off then spit them out

  14. Just about all of the puppies here have done that. We now have beds from Costco and the zippers are pretty well hidden undet a thick piece of material, but where there is a will, we suspect there is a way. You could try just using a quilt folded in fourths.

  16. Our money is on you Tegan. We bet it isn't just the zipper that attracts you to eat the beds.
